Hyperscale Power is building the power backbone for the AI data center era: a complete power conversion chain from 13.8kV ‐ 35kV medium-voltage AC down to 800V DC, combining ultra-compact SiC-based AC/DC and DC/DC power blocks. As we move from validated prototype through Alpha customer deployments toward volume shipments — and look to adapt our technology to adjacent segments such as EV charging and renewable energy integration — we need a Senior Product Manager / Business Development lead to own the product from market requirement to launch, and to open the doors to our next strategic partnerships and customers. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, sales, and business strategy. You will represent the voice of the customer and the market to our engineering teams, and the voice of the product to customers, partners and the sales force — while actively identifying and shaping the strategic partnerships, alliances and business opportunities that help Hyperscale Power scale. It is a unique opportunity to define a product category from an early stage — shaping requirements, pricing, go-to-market and key partnerships for a breakthrough power electronics platform, with direct visibility to the founders and leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap and business case for the power conversion platform (13.8kV AC → 800V DC) — from definition and planning through production release and full lifecycle management.
• Serve as the central resource between engineering, manufacturing, quality, sales and marketing as the product moves from prototype to volume production.
• Represent the market's and customers' needs to engineering; translate technical and commercial requirements into clear product specifications.
• Conduct competitive analysis, pricing analysis and market research across data centers, EV charging, and renewable energy integration; track competing power-conversion and SST technologies.
• Create and maintain product briefs, sales guides and technical/marketing collateral; develop and deliver product training material to the sales force and key customers.
• Define and manage the Early Access / Pilot program and coordinate qualification setups for lead customers, in line with our system milestones (Prototype, Alpha Customer, First Shipments).
• Identify, evaluate and manage new strategic business opportunities — partnerships, joint developments and alliances with component suppliers, contract manufacturers, and customers.
• Lead due diligence, planning and execution of strategic initiatives; define go-to-market vision, strategy and tactics for new business segments.
• Set and track pricing, business case and margin targets together with Finance and Engineering.
• Act as a key interface with leadership, customers and partners; represent Hyperscale Power with key opinion leaders and at industry events.
• Prioritize roadmap and feature trade-offs together with the CTO and engineering leadership to ensure product competitiveness and schedule adherence — focus on core know-how, use partners where possible, focus on schedule.

Qualifications

• BSc / MSc in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, business administration or comparable education.
• 5+ years of experience in product management and/or business development, ideally in power electronics, semiconductors, energy, or data center infrastructure.
• Track record of taking hardware products from concept through market launch and lifecycle management.
• Working understanding of power electronics concepts (AC/DC, DC/DC); ability to communicate fluently with engineering teams on technical trade-offs.
• Experience in business development — negotiating and managing supplier, customer, or alliance relationships.
• Strong analytical skills: market research, competitive analysis, pricing and business case modeling.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging with customers, partners and executives.
• Hands-on, structured, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving priorities.
• Language skills: fluent in English, spoken and written; German language skills helpful, but not mandatory.
• The job will be located at our HQ in Egg b. Zürich in Switzerland, with regular travel to the US and customer sites. National and international willingness to travel is assumed.
