Hyperscale Power is building the power backbone for the AI data center era: a complete power conversion chain from 13.8kV ‐ 35kV medium-voltage AC down to 800V DC, combining ultra-compact SiC-based AC/DC and DC/DC power blocks. Our technology and supply chain depend on a small set of critical partners — power semiconductor suppliers, magnetics and component partners, test & certification bodies, and contract manufacturers — who effectively act as an extension of our own team. The Partner Manager owns these strategic technology and supply partnerships end to end — from deal structuring and negotiation through joint roadmap execution and ongoing relationship management. You will work closely with the CTO, Head of Operations, and the leadership team to ensure our partner ecosystem scales in lockstep with our own organization, from Alpha customer readiness through volume shipments. It is a unique opportunity to shape the partner ecosystem of a breakthrough power electronics platform from an early stage — with direct visibility to the founders and leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

• Own strategic technology and supply partnerships — power semiconductors, magnetics/transformers, test & certification bodies, and contract manufacturers/EMS — from deal conception through contract closure.
• Establish deal structures and business models for joint development partnerships (JDPs), comprehending IP concerns, licensing scope, statements of work, and go-to-market considerations as appropriate.
• Treat joint development partners as a strategic extension of our own team — drive joint roadmaps, technical collaboration cadence, and mutual accountability.
• Manage and cultivate relationships with key ecosystem partners, ensuring their ability to meet technical specifications, quality, and delivery commitments.
• Negotiate and manage supplier and partner contracts; track performance, statistical data and trends to inform sourcing and partnership decisions — in close coordination with the Head of Operations.
• Support go-to-market and channel partnerships as Hyperscale Power expands into adjacent segments such as EV charging and renewable energy integration.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Finance and Legal to ensure partner agreements are technically sound, commercially favorable, and executable on schedule.
• Build and maintain a clear map of the partner ecosystem, including escalation paths and executive relationships for our most critical partners.
• Contribute to business and partnership strategy — focus on core know-how, use partners where possible, focus on schedule.

Qualifications

• BSc / MSc in engineering, business administration or comparable education.
• 5+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, alliance management, business development, or strategic sourcing, ideally in semiconductors, power electronics, or hardware technology.
• Track record of structuring and closing complex commercial or technology agreements (e.g., joint development partnerships, licensing, supply agreements).
• Working understanding of power electronics or complex hardware supply chains; ability to hold credible technical conversations with engineering and component/technology partners.
• Experience with vendor/supplier contract structuring and performance management.
• Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Comfortable operating with ambiguity in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Language skills: fluent in English, spoken and written; German language skills helpful, but not mandatory.
• The job will be located at our HQ in Egg b. Zürich in Switzerland, with regular travel to partners and suppliers globally. National and international willingness to travel is assumed.
